Your Wellbeing Matters

We're recruiting young adult participants for a low-commitment, free of cost mental health-related program where we study the effectiveness of various psychosocial interventions in a peer group setting

If you are at USC, you can apply to be one of our:

NOTE: Participant applicants should have been referred to the study by their campus/local study ambassador, in this case at USC. If you were not referred in such a manner and are interested in becoming a campus/local ambassador yourself, please apply using this link here instead. Thank you!

About the Study

1 in 5 U.S. adults experience mental illness each year*. But regardless of illness, 100% of us have mental health. This is why there is an ongoing effort to provide quality, nuanced mental health education. This study seeks to understand how that education can best take place in a peer group setting.

How It Works

Over a period of 3 months, you will participate in six sessions of 30 to 60 minutes each. Each session will occur roughly two weeks after the previous session. During each session, you will engage in a psychosocial intervention alongside your peers. Before, during, and after the study, you will be asked to complete short evaluations for us to gauge the effectiveness of the intervention. Those who complete the study may become eligible to receive compensation.

Requirements

  • Be 18 years or older

  • Live in the United States

  • Able to read/listen, write/type, and speak/voice English

  • That's it!

NOTE: Participant applicants should have been referred to the study by their campus/local study ambassador. If you were not referred in such a manner and are interested in becoming a campus/local ambassador yourself, please apply using this link here instead. Thank you!
